Owner & Founder of Benchmark Consulting Services Ralph Defibaugh was President of Spa Body Works LTD, a chain of four collision repair shops in Upstate New York. Since 1997 Ralph has worked with a major paint company, providing consulting & management seminars across the US and Canada. Through his involvement in the industry, networking with many knowledgeable associates, and insurance companies, he has honed his approach toward collision shop management. His shops were networked heavily with Insurance companies, satisfying over twenty major insurance companies and fleet direct repair relationships. Ralph is past president of the New York State Auto Collision Technicians Association, as well as the Capital District Auto Body Association. Before starting his Collision Shop in 1986, he managed a dealership repair shop for six years. He established Benchmark Consulting Services LLC. In 1997, to assist the collision repair industry in achieving higher levels of management, process improvement, and profitability. Ralph holds many trade accreditations and certifications and continually strives for improvement. Ralph Defibaugh works with shops of varying scale and circumstance. His expertise covers, large single and multi-location Independent and Dealer owned repair shops.
